A Sky Regional Airlines Embraer ERJ-175, registration C-FEIQ performing flight RS-7306 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Washington National,DC (USA) with 39 passengers and 5 crew, was climbing through 1400 feet out of Toronto's runway 23 when the crew received a lavatory smoke indication. The crew worked the lavatory smoke checklist as well as the smoke evacuation checklist and returned to Toronto for a safe landing on runway 23 about 17 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported according to maintenance a compressor wash had been performed the previous night, residual liquid may have caused the smoke. Engine runs were performed without further findings of smoke or odour.
