A UPS United Parcel Service Boeing 767-300, registration N327UP performing flight 5X-2276 from Louisville,KY to Raleigh/Durham,NC (USA), was on approach to Raleigh Durham's runway 23R about to join final approach when the crew reported they had just got a fire indication, they needed to get the thing on the ground and requested to roll the fire trucks. The crew explained the indication didn't tell which engine (CF6) at all, maybe it was a false indication. They would be able to vacate the runway and stop clear of the runway. Emergency services did not find any trace of fire.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 10.5 hours, then positioned to Houston Intercontinental,TX (USA) and is still on the ground in Houston 9 hours after landing.
