A post flight inspection revealed a hole at the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer however.
Nantong Airport reported it was determined the aircraft received a number of bird strikes while turning final.
The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight KY-8296 and is still on the ground about 42 hours after landing.
