A Eurowings Airbus A330-200, registration D-AXGF performing flight EW-141 from Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) to Cologne (Germany), was on approach to Cologne when the crew reported a hydraulic leak. The crew performed an alternate gear extension and landed on Cologne's runway 24. During roll out smoke became visible from the landing gear. Emergency services reported leaking hydraulic fluid as cause of the smoke and resolved the situation quickly. The aircraft was towed to the apron.
