A Latam Cargo Boeing 777-200 freighter, registration N776LA performing flight UC-1507 from Miami,FL (USA) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was on final approach to Amsterdam's runway 18R when a flock of birds flew into the way of the aircraft, one bird impacted the underside of the fuselage, another bird was ingested by the left hand engine (GE90). The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 18R.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 3 hours, then continued its schedule to Frankfurt/Main (Germany).
