Italy's Air Force reported they were dispatched by NATO Command to intercept a TuiFly Boeing over Montenegro, which had lost radio contact with ATC.
On Apr 11th 2019 TuiFly sent following statement to The Aviation Herald: "We can confirm a short term comms loss during the handover between Belgrade and Tirana. The crew restored comms before the Italian air force arrived, so they continued at their own request, basically as an exercise. There was no visual pilot-to-pilot contact as both planes stayed behind."
