An Airblue Airbus A320-200, registration AP-EDH performing flight PA-872 from Multan (Pakistan) to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), was accelerating for takeoff from runway 36 when the left hand engine (CFM56) ingested a bird prompting the crew to reject takeoff at high speed (about 110 knots over ground). The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 7 hours after the rejected takeoff.
