An Air France Airbus A320-200, registration F-GKXQ performing flight AF-604 from Pointe a Pitre (Guadeloupe) to Fort de France (Martinique), was climbing out of Pointe a Pitre's runway 12 when the crew stopped the climb at 3000 feet due to a hydraulic failure. The aircraft returned to Pointe a Pitre for a safe landing with flaps in takeoff configuration and with gear doors open on runway 12 about 15 minutes after departure.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 26 hours after landing back.
