A passenger reported the captain announced the crew had spotted a goose that was about to cross their flight path.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 70 minutes, then taxied out, departed and reached Munich with a delay of 70 minutes.
On Nov 3rd 2016 The Aviation Herald learned there was a large flock of geese crossing the departure path of the aircraft. The captain reasoned that had they continued the departure they would undoubtedly have flown into the flock, therefore the captain rejected takeoff as a precaution.
