A Volaris Airbus A320-200, registration XA-VLL performing flight Y4-739 from Guadalajara to Mexico City (Mexico), was climbing out of Guadalajara's runway 28 when the crew stopped the climb at 12000 feet declaring PAN, PAN, PAN reporting control problems. The aircraft entered a hold for about 40 minutes, then positioned for an approach to runway 10 and landed safely at a higher than normal speed.

A replacement A320-200 registration N526VL reached Mexico City with a delay of 2:40 hours.

The occurrence aircraft resumed service about 6.5 hours after landing.
