A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N555LV performing flight WN-2634 from Los Angeles,CA to Nashville,TN (USA) with 142 passengers and 5 crew, departed Los Angeles' runway 25R when the crew suspected they blew a left main tyre on departure. The crew stopped the climb at 4000 feet and performed a low approach to runway 25R to have the gear inspected by a police air ship and a police helicopter about 30 minutes after departure. Police reported the right inboard main tyre appeared blown, the right outboard main tyre was intact. The aircraft entered a hold for another 25 minutes, then positioned for a landing on runway and returned to Los Angeles for a safe landing on runway 25R about 80 minutes after departure and stopped on the runway.

The airline reported a tyre issue prompted the return to Los Angeles. The passenger were disembarked onto the runway and bussed to the terminal, the aircraft was subsequently towed to the apron.
