A Safair Boeing 737-800, registration ZS-SJS performing flight FA-260 from Johannesburg to Durban (South Africa), was climbing out of Johannesburg when crew and passengers noticed the cabin was getting unusually warm, the crew was unable to adjust the cabin temperature. The flight crew continued the flight to Durban for a safe landing.

The airline apologized for an uncomfortably warm flight explaining that one of the temperature control valves of the two independent air conditioning systems was stuck at a higher temperature than desired. The valve was "convinced" of a normal temperature setting on the ground in Durban and operated normally during the return flight, then was replaced in Johannesburg.
