The airline apologized for an uncomfortably warm flight explaining that one of the temperature control valves of the two independent air conditioning systems was stuck at a higher temperature than desired. The valve was "convinced" of a normal temperature setting on the ground in Durban and operated normally during the return flight, then was replaced in Johannesburg.
