A Blue Air Boeing 737-800, registration YR-BMG performing flight 0B-9361 from Bucharest Otopeni (Romania) to Antalya (Turkey), was climbing out of Bucharest when the crew requested to stop the climb at FL100. While working the checklists the crew advised they needed to return to Bucharest and stated, they had an abnormal indication for the landing gear after departure. No assistance was needed, the crew declined an offer to perform a low approach to Otopeni. The aircraft landed safely back on Otopeni's runway 08R about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration YR-BMB reached Antalya with a delay of 3 hours.

The occurrence aircraft resumed service after about 16 hours on the ground.
