A J-Air Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of JAL Japan Airlines, registration JA207J performing flight JL-2301 from Osaka Itami to Matsuyama (Japan) with 32 people on board, was climbing out of Itami Airport when the crew stopped the climb at FL130 due to the failure of the right hand generator (engine CF34). The aircraft returned to Osaka's Itami Airport for a safe landing about 25 minutes after departure.
