A Frontier Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration N943FR performing flight F9-555 from Denver,CO to San Diego,CA (USA) with 133 passengers and 5 crew, was enroute at FL360 over Grand Canyon City,AZ (USA) about 140nm east of Las Vegas,NV when the crew reported a problem with one of the engines (CFM56) and decided to divert to Las Vegas, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 25L about 25 minutes later.

A replacement Airbus A319-100 registration N953FR reached San Diego with a delay of 5:45 hours.

The airline reported one of the engines indicated low oil pressure.
