A passenger reported the crew announced there was an abnormal odour in the cockpit prompting the diversion to Marseille.
The airline reported the crew received indication of a system failure, in addition crew detected an unusual odour in cockpit and cabin. Passengers are either being rebooked or taken to hotels until a replacement aircraft arrives.
On Feb 25th 2017 The Aviation Herald learned, that Elevator and Aileron Computer #1 (ELAC #1) failed, an odour developed at the same time.
