A Condor Boeing 767-300, registration D-ABUF performing flight DE-236 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), was enroute at FL320 about 30 minutes into the Atlantic about 250nm southwest of Shannon (Ireland) when the crew turned around due to a flaps indication and returned to Frankfurt. On approach to Frankfurt advised they needed a minimum clean speed of 240 KIAS and 170 KIAS on final approach, they were going to land overweight. The aircraft landed on Frankfurt's runway 25C about 2 hours after turning around.

A replacement Boeing 767-300 registration D-ABUK reached Santo Domingo with a delay of 7 hours.
