A Saudi Arabian Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration HZ-ASI performing flight SV-1733 from Riyadh to Bisha (Saudi Arabia), landed on Bisha's runway 36 when slowing through 70 KIAS the nose gear torsion link bolt separated causing damage to both left and right nose wheel assemblies. The aircraft stopped without further incident.

Saudi Arabia's AIB (SAAIB) rated the damage minor, the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.

In 2018 the SAAIB reported: "The investigation revealed that the NLG torquelink apex pin sheared off causing the torsion link separation and NLG lower strut to be rotated 180 degrees. Subsequent damages to the inboard wheel halves of the NLG, Tire Pressure Indication Sensor (TPIS) electrical harness separation in two halves and numerous other nose gear components." The French BEA was involved for metallurgical analysis. The final report is currently being drafted.
