The airline reported that the aircraft subsequently positioned to Sao Carlos,SP (Brazil) for scheduled maintenance (flight JJ-9560). Maintenance there discovered a hole in the #3 leading edge flap of the left hand wing with a 7.62mm caliber projectile embedded, the hole became only visible because of the maintenance works. It was not possible to determine at which stage of the last commercial flight from Barcelona to Sao Paulo the bullet struck the aircraft, neither crew nor passengers did notice anything abnormal. The bullet did not compromise the safety of the flight.
