A British Airways Airbus A320-200, registration G-EUYC performing flight BA-473 from Barcelona,SP (Spain) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was enroute at FL340 about 40nm southsouthwest of Toulouse (France) when the crew declared PAN and initiated a rapid descent to FL100 due to problems with the cabin pressure. The aircraft burned off fuel at FL080 and diverted to Toulouse for a safe landing on runway 14R about 45 minutes after leaving FL340.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 2 hours, then continued to London climbing to FL320 and FL340 and reached London with a delay of 3.5 hours.

A passenger reported there were cabin pressure problems causing the diversion to Toulouse.

The airline reported the aircraft diverted because of a "technical problem".
