An Air Canada Airbus A330-300, registration C-GFUR performing flight AC-849 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 258 people on board, was enroute at FL300 over Wales about 140nm west of London when the crew received an "AIR ENG2 BLEED AIR LEAK" ECAM message. Following consultation with maintenance on the ground the crew decided to return to London and to declare PAN PAN. The aircraft landed safely on Heathrow's runway 27R about 40 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported that maintenance could not find any fault during leak checks. Further examination revealed the number 2 bleed air monitoring computer was at fault, the computer was replaced.

The aircraft departed the following day and reached Toronto with a delay of 19 hours.
