A Horizon Air de Havilland Dash 8-400 on behalf of Alaska Airlines, registration N434MK performing flight QX-2150/AS-2150 from Reno,NV to Portland,OR (USA), departed Reno's runway 16L but blew a tyre on departure. The crew continued the flight to Portland, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 28L with emergency services on stand by.

The FAA reported the aircraft received minor damage to its landing gear as result of the damaged tyre.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for 8.5 hours, then resumed service returning to Reno.
