A United Boeing 767-300, registration N661UA performing flight UA-30 (dep Jun 14th) from Newark,NJ (USA) to Munich (Germany), departed Newark's runway 04L when a ceiling panel opened. The aircraft continued departure and the flight and was descending towards Munich when the crew reported hydraulic problems and requested emergency services on stand by for landing. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Munich's runway 26R at a normal speed and taxied to the apron.

A ground observer in Munich reported that maintenance replaced a tyre on the right main gear.

"this came open on our take off, Flight UA30.Can we push it back up to help calm passenger nerves?
