Southwest B737 at Islip on Apr 28th 2016, ground observer saw aircraft leaking

A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N960WN performing flight WN-1570 from Islip,NY to Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA), was in the initial climb out of Macarthur Airport's runway 06 when an airport ground staff observed something prompting him to believe the aircraft was leaking fuel from the left hand engine (CFM56). The crew stopped the climb at 3000 feet and returned to Islip for a safe landing on runway 06 about 15 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-700 registration N920WN reached Fort Lauderdale with a delay of 1:45 hours.

The occurrence aircraft was examined, maintenance however determined that there had been no leak. The aircraft returned to service about 3 hours after landing back.
