An Air Canada Airbus A320-200, registration C-FGYL performing flight AC-150 from Vancouver,BC to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 133 people on board, was climbing out of Vancouver when the crew received an equipment cooling and an avionics smoke indication. The crew levelled off at 10,000 feet, declared PAN and returned to Vancouver for a safe landing.

The Canadian TSB did not report what caused the indications.

A replacement Airbus A320-200 reached Montreal with a delay of 3 hours.

The incident aircraft was able to resume service about 6.5 hours later.
