A Mesa Airlines Embraer ERJ-175 on behalf of United, registration N88327 performing flight YV-6183/UA-6183 from Washington Dulles,DC to San Antonio,TX (USA), was enroute at FL340 about 160nm eastnortheast of Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft levelled off at 10,000 feet and diverted to Dallas Ft. Worth for a safe landing about 40 minutes later.

A replacement Embraer ERJ-175 registration N86311 reached San Antonio with a delay of 3.5 hours.

The FAA confirmed the aircraft performed an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure.

The airline reported a pressurization issue.
