A Vietnam Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration VN-A601 performing flight VN-162 from Da Nang to Hanoi (Vietnam) with 162 people on board, was descending towards Hanoi when the crew received indication that the #1 tyre (outboard left main) had lost pressure. The crew requested emergency services on stand by and performed a safe landing. The outboard left main tyre was found punctured consistent with damage by a foreign object.
