An Anadolujet Boeing 737-800 on behalf of Turkish Airlines, registration TC-SBI performing flight TK-7239 from Samsun to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (Turkey), was climbing out of Samsun when the crew stopped the climb reporting problems with the cabin pressure. The aircraft returned to Samsun for a safe landing about 20 minutes after departure.

A passenger reported the passenger oxygen masks were released and a burning smell developed on board of the aircraft.

The flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights to Istanbul via Ankara and Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
