The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.

Passengers disembarked while maintenance was carried out and boarded again about 5 hours later, the aircraft accelerated for takeoff from runway 23L a second time when the crew again rejected takeoff at high speed (about 90 knots over ground) due to a problem with the #3 engine. The aircraft returned to the apron.
