A Lufthansa Embraer ERJ-195, registration D-AEMB performing flight LH-1995 from Cologne/Bonn to Munich (Germany), was on approach to Munich when the crew reported the loss of nose wheel steering and requested to be towed from the runway. The aircraft landed safely on Munich's runway 08R, vacated the runway via a high speed turn off and was subsequently towed to the apron.

The aircraft resumed service the following morning.
