A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N289CT performing flight WN-211 from Phoenix,AZ to Los Angeles,CA (USA), departed Phoenix's runway 25R and was about to be handed off to departure when the crew advised they probably had blown a tyre and there might be debris on the runway. The crew climbed the aircraft to 6000 feet and returned to Phoenix for a safe landing on runway 25R about 30 minutes after departure.

The FAA reported the aircraft blew a tyre on departure and received damage to a nose wheel on landing, there were no injuries.
