A Goma Air Let L-410, registration 9N-AKY performing a scheduled flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (Nepal) with 18 people on board, was on approach to Pokhara when the crew aborted the approach due to the nose gear not extending. The crew was unable to resolve the problem and prepared for a landing without nose gear. The aircraft landed at Pokhara on both main gear and the nose of the aircraft. There were no injuries, the damage to the aircraft is being assessed.

The airport of Pokhara is currently closed until the aircraft can be removed from the runway.
