An Air Canada Embraer ERJ-175, registration C-FEJC performing flight AC-463 from Ottawa,ON to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 78 people on board, was on approach to Toronto's runway 05, when the crew selected flaps 1 but received a number of EICAS messages: "SLAT FAIL", "SHAKER ANTICIPATED", "SPOILER FAULT", "AOA LIMIT FAIL". The crew actioned the relevant checklists, declared emergency and landed safely on runway 05 about 25 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance found the right hand slat torque tube disconnected at the slat drive motor. The torque tube was reconnected and an operational test performed with no faults.
