The return flight BA-757 was cancelled.
A passenger waiting for the return flight reported the captain announced on the airport's PA that the aircraft had received a lightning strike during the approach, damage was visible on the fuselage and maintenance engineers needed to be flown in from London or Oslo.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Bergen 12 hours after landing.
