A Royal Air Maroc Boeing 767-300, registration CN-RNT performing flight AT-208 from Casablanca (Morocco) to Montreal,QC (Canada), had landed on Montreal's runway 24R and had vacated the runway. While taxiing towards the terminal along taxiway B2 the crew was instructed and acknowledged to hold short of runway 28 at taxiway B2.

A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration C-FJVV performing flight QK-8985 from Montreal,QC to Ottawa,ON (Canada), was accelerating for takeoff from runway 28 when the Boeing 767 taxied past the hold short line.

The Canadian TSB reported the Dash 8 was about to pass taxiway B2, about 4740 feet/1450 meters down the runway, at the time of the runway incursion.

The Dash 8 continued to Ottawa for a safe landing without further incident.
