An Air Canada Boeing 767-300, registration C-GHLA performing flight AC-810 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Istanbul (Turkey), was enroute at FL350 about 7nm north of London's Heathrow Airport,EN (UK) when the crew decided to divert to Heathrow Airport due to a low oil quantity indication for the right hand engine (CF6). The aircraft landed safely on Heathrow's runway 27L about 30 minutes later.

The remainder of the flight as well as the return flight AC-811 were cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.

Maintenance identified an engine oil leak. The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in London about 12 hours after landing.

The airline confirmed a low oil quantity indication.

On Aug 28th 2014 the Canadian TSB reported the crew observed a decreasing oil quantity indication for the right hand engine, declared PAN and diverted to London Heathrow. The engine was shut down after landing. Air Canada's Maintenance is investigating.
