A Delta Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration N394DL performing flight DL-612 from Honolulu,HI to Los Angeles,CA (USA), was enroute at FL350 over the Pacific Ocean about 2 hours into the flight when the crew decided to turn around and return to Honolulu. The aircraft climbed to FL360 on the way back and landed safely on Honolulu's runway 08L with no services on stand by about 4.5 hours after departure and taxied to the apron.

A passenger reported the captain announced problems with a fuel pump.
