A search of the aircraft and luggage is under way.
The airline confirmed a suspicious item had been found on board prompting the emergency return. The flight is estimated to depart again on May 24th.
Police reported a soft drink can had been found, that had a piece of paper attached with masking tape, the paper carrying the word "bomb". There have been no arrests so far, the investigation of how the item got on board are under way.
