A US Airways Embraer ERJ-190, registration N947UW performing flight US-1804 from Phialdelphia,PA to Boston,MA (USA) with 58 people on board, was climbing out of Philadelphia when the crew stopped the climb at 18,000 feet reporting a fuel leak and decided to return to Philadelphia. The aircraft landed safely on runway 27R about 15 minutes after stopping the climb. Both runways 27 were temporarily closed as result of the emergency due to inspections.

A replacement ERJ-190 reached Boston with a delay of 2 hours.
