A Transaero Boeing 777-300, registration EI-UNL performing flight UN-331 from Moscow Domodedovo (Russia) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), was climbing out of Domodedovo's runway 32L when the crew stopped the climb at FL120 due to abnormal indications for the left hand engine (Trent 892), shut the engine down and returned to Domodedovo Airport for a safe landing on runway 32L about 30 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 777-300 registration EI-UNP reached Barcelona with a delay of 3.5 hours.

Rosaviatsia reported abnormal engine indication prompted the crew to shut the left hand engine down and returned to Domodedovo Airport.
