An Emirates Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration A6-EMH performing flight EK-608 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Karachi (Pakistan), reported the failure of a hydraulic system while on approach to Karachi and advised they would need to stop on the runway. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 25L and stopped on the runway. The aircraft was later towed to the apron, the runway was temporarily closed.

The return flight was cancelled.
