The flight was postponed to the next morning.
A replacement Boeing 737-700 registration LX-LGQ reached Heraklion with a delay of 14 hours.
The airline confirmed the aircraft rejected takeoff due to some technical problem, maintenance is currently examining the aircraft.
The incident aircraft is still on the ground about 24 hours after rejecting takeoff.
