A TAM Linhas Aereas Airbus A320-200, registration PR-MAC performing flight JJ-3641 from Sao Paulo Viracopos,SP to Rio de Janeiro,RJ (Brazil) with 153 people on board, landed on Rio de Janeiro Galeao Airport's runway 28 at 20:50L (23:50Z) but veered left off the runway and came to a stop with the left main gear on soft ground. No injuries occurred, about 20 minutes after landing the passengers disembarked through the rear right hand door via mobile stairs onto the runway.
