A US Airways Boeing 757-200, registration N940UW performing flight US-1020 from Philadelphia,PA to Orlando,FL (USA), was on final approach to Orlando's runway 36R descending through about 700 feet AGL when a bird impacted the nose and nose gear. The crew continued for a safe landing on runway 36R and during turn off reported the bird strike being concerned the bird might have entangled with the nose gear and fallen onto the runway during roll out, someone on tower frequency commented they got a pretty hefty dent at the radome captain's side.

The FAA reported the aircraft received "unknown damage".
