A British Airways Boeing 767-300, registration G-BNWU performing flight BA-264 (dep Jun 23rd) from Washington Dulles,DC (USA) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was enroute at FL350 about 200nm eastnortheast of Gander,NL (Canada) when the crew received indication of a hydraulic leak and declared PAN. The crew descended the aircraft to FL280, turned around and diverted to Boston,MA (USA), the aircraft climbed back to FL340 out of Oceanic Airspace and landed safely in Boston about 3.5 hours after the PAN call.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.

The Canadian TSB reported the seals on a filter housing at the air driven pump were replaced.

The incident aircraft positioned to London the following day and resumed service after arrival in London.
