An American Eagle Canadair CRJ-700, registration N516AE performing flight MQ-4579 from New York La Guardia,NY to Charlotte,NC (USA) with 46 people on board, was climbing out of La Guardia's runway 31 when the crew reported they had ingested some tyre debris into an engine (CF34) and needed to level off at 2000 feet. The crew subsequently declared emergency and requested to divert to New York's JFK Airport's runway 22L, the crew reported they had tyre damage and engine vibrations, they were planning to stop on the runway. The aircraft landed safely on runway 22L about 25 minutes after departure.
