A US Airways Boeing 767-200, registration N249AU performing flight US-711 from Zurich (Switzerland) to Philadelphia,PA (USA) with 123 passengers, 3 pilots and 6 cabin crew, was enroute at FL360 about 40nm south of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (France) when the flight crew declared emergency reporting 4 cabin crew had become sick with symptoms of vertigo and diverted to Paris Charles de Gaulle for a safe landing on runway 26L about 35 minutes later. All cabin crew reported sick after landing and were taken to a hospital, where they were diagnosed with food poisoning.

The airline reported all six cabin crew became sick suffering from symptoms of vertigo. They were taken to hospital after landing and were discharged after being diagnosed with food poisoning. No passenger felt sick. The flight was cancelled, the passengers were taken to hotels.

The aircraft was later ferried to Philadelphia as flight US-9191.
