A Delta Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration N194DN performing flight DL-614 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Seattle,WA (USA) with 160 people on board, was enroute at FL360 about 260nm northnortheast of Edmonton,AB (Canada) when the crew received a low oil pressure indication for the left hand engine (PW4000) and shut the engine down. The aircraft drifted down to FL240 and diverted to Edmonton for a safe landing about 55 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance found evidence the oil pump had failed. The engine is going to be replaced.
