An Aeroflot Airbus A330-300, registration VQ-BPI performing flight SU-1730 (dep Apr 6th) from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Russia), completed what appeared to be an uneventful flight.

On Apr 9th 2013 Rosaviatsia however reported that a postflight inspection revealed 111 dents and other damage to the aircraft's flaps and fuselage. Following that discovery the runway at Petropavlovsk was inspected, small stones and loose concrete crumbs were found on the runway. The airport refused a statement.

The day before another Airbus A330-300 received damage to fan blades, see: Incident: Aeroflot A333 at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on Apr 6th 2013, fan blade damage.
