A UPS United Parcel Service Boeing 747-8 freighter, registration N622UP performing flight 5X-11 from Dubai Al Maktoum (United Arab Emirates) to Cologne (Germany), was on approach to Cologne when the crew advised ATC about a possible tyre damage. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 13L. Emergency services reported seeing no tyre damage.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 15 hours before returning to service.
